Lean, Efficient Government
Idahoans work hard for their money, and Idaho’s government must be lean and efficient, carefully managing tax dollars to facilitate the needs of Idaho’s taxpayers.
Oppose Tax Increases
Governments rarely have revenue problems, but most have problems managing their spending. Idaho’s state and local governments must live within their means. Period. And they should look to save tax dollars every year, returning to the taxpayers the unused funds rather than spend them on new or ever-expanding programs.
Eliminate Property Tax
You already paid for your property, and you shouldn’t keep getting a bill every year from the government demanding more and more money under the threat of seizure. Many of Idaho’s seniors just can’t afford the rising property tax demands, and they’re losing their homes. Enough is enough. It’s time Idaho led the nation in eliminating property taxes.
End Waste & Fraud
Idaho is not immune from the national daycare and Medicaid fraud scandals. Our government must work every single day to audit its books, ensure “return on investment” for all spending, and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse from the system.
